Free hugs....!!

Hey friends...

Its new challenge time again at Inky chicks and the theme this fortnight is to "use a resin embellishment"!!

I used the gorgeous new stamp from Animals of the year collection - Tilda with angel the horse

I used the no lines technique for this one...and coloured with distress inks!!

Mae has a wonderful video on this technique over at her blog...its awesome, a must watch!!

I used a cute little resin flower nested around my handmade paper roses...

The handmade roses were made using the "create a rose" die from spellbinders!!

I used pink cardstock and inked the edges with distress ink..

And here is the inside of my card...

Hey everyone.

My latest project is a little boys card with stand..

I used the cute new stamp from Animals of the year collection  Edwin with Theo the dragon!!

I coloured him up with Distress inks on Langton smooth hot press paper..

The blue lace and little clay heart are from my local craft store...

They hand dye some of their laces and they are such pretty colours!!

The stars and border are from a Tim Holtz on the edge die..I just cut out twice so I could use on as the top border and then the other to cut off the stars separately!!

Dream, Believe fairy tag...!!

Hi everyone.. 

Last night I started on something different for me, a large tag. (I finished it off today)

I had so much fun making this, adding in all the pretty little pieces, lots of cute die-cuts, lovely flowers, lace and ribbons!!

All the die-cuts are from Kaisercraft,

 and the gorgeous flowers are handmade, I got them from a lady off facebook!!

Isn't fairy Tilda super sweet....

I paper pieced her dress using some paper by Prima, coloured her hair and skin with copics and covered her wings in sparkly glitter!!

All the edges are distressed with Vintage photo distress ink.. 

I added glossy accents to parts of the die-cuts for a nice gloss feel/look...

Papers are by Prima and the large tags are from the Prima doll tag pads..!!

My mojo has been a bit slow lately but...

 This time I have made a criss-cross card!!

The stamps used on this one are Magnolia

- Mini twins - Postcard

I used the Doo-hickey die Lace coaster...

The Designer paper is from Graphic 45!!

This is the inside card that pulls out so you can write a message\greeting...

As always lots of pretty flowers....

50th Birthday card...

Hi everyone...

It's new challenge time at Inky chicks,

 this fortnight it's shaped cards..no squares or rectangles!!

I made this card for my mums 50th..

here it is......

I coloured in the image using my copics...for the chalkboard I used the fine liner to colour it in black and then used a chalk ink to stamp the happy birthday sentiment.

I used the Doohickey Bride bow and cut it out using felt instead of paper for the pretty bow!!

I hope you like my card...
